National Corvette Museum
I can honestly say that I am a car enthusiast. I love to see the shapes and sounds and technology, but mostly, I like the progression of the style over the years. It was a great opportunity to learn not only about the corvette, but about the history of our country and how it affected sports car production. I found it interesting that the corvette almost didn't survive, with the horsepower dipping from over 400, in its first production, to under 200 in the late 1970's. All of these cars mark our country's history, from wars to lunar landings and back to wars again. It will be interesting to see what comes next for the corvette. Whatever it is, I am sure I am not the only American who will be more than a little intrigued by it.
